Telehealth Therapy in Illinois

The path from school social worker to private practice owner is both professional and personal for me. Navigating motherhood presented so many new and unique challenges and it lead to me create Olifant Therapeutic Services & Consulting. For moms, therapy needs to be realistic for it to be attainable. Traditional therapy models weren’t built for us. Between school drop-offs, nap schedules, and sick days, finding an hour for yourself can feel impossible. That’s why my practice is intentionally designed to be accessible. Whether it's seamless telehealth sessions you can take from your car during soccer practice, baby-friendly appointments, or the peace of mind that comes with working with someone who can relate to the good, bad, and ugly of parenting, I am here to help.

Postpartum Planning Support

Postpartum support planning is a proactive approach to preparing for the emotional, mental, and physical challenges that can arise after childbirth. It involves working with a therapist to identify and plan for potential difficulties such as postpartum depression, anxiety, or the stress of adjusting to life with a newborn. This plan can include strategies for self-care, identifying support systems, and setting realistic expectations for your recovery. By creating a postpartum support plan, mothers are better equipped to navigate the transition into motherhood, feel more confident in asking for help, and ensure they have the resources they need to maintain their well-being during this critical time.

Parenting Consultations & Support

Motherhood doesn't come with a manual, and school challenges make it even harder. Meltdowns, school refusal, and executive dysfunction take a toll on the whole family. Combining my maternal mental health training with my background as a school social worker, I help moms decode school stressors and reclaim their peace of mind. Contact us and let’s talk about how I can support you.
